Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When you enter a name or a date of birth into a search tool here, the input goes to the third-party company that runs the search. That provider processes the query and returns the results. We do not keep or log the terms you type on our side.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email us, we retain the message so we can write back. It stays with our team, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the organization unless a legal obligation requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Each time a page here loads, our servers record a few technical details about the visit:
- The IP address of your device
- Your browser and its version
- Your operating system and device type
- The pages you opened and the time spent on each
- The referring site, when one sent you here
- A timestamp for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
This site uses cookies, which are small files stored on your device. They show us how visitors move through the site, including which pages attract the most traffic and where readers leave. Analytics services help us combine that information into traffic reports. You can block cookies in your browser settings at any time, and some parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
What We Do With This Data
- Keep the site online and loading quickly
- Route your search request to the right partner service
- See which pages readers find useful and which need work
- Find and repair technical problems
- Display advertising that may reflect your interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, keep, compile, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant records. It publishes general guidance about where West Baton Rouge Parish warrant records are held and how to ask for them from the Clerk of Court, the Sheriff's Warrant Division, and the municipal courts. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing gathered about visitors is assembled into consumer reports about anyone.
Third-Party Search Partners
The search boxes on this site are provided by outside companies. Anything you submit through one of those tools is processed under that partner's privacy policy rather than this one. Those companies set their own retention and sharing rules, and we do not control them. Read the partner's policy before you send a search.
Links to Other Websites
We link to sheriff and police pages, court portals, Louisiana record resources, legal aid groups, and outside search tools. Following any of those links takes you off this site, and the destination's privacy policy then applies. Review it before you share personal details.
Some advertising partners may follow your activity across sites in order to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may reach:
- The search partners that handle queries run here
- The analytics services used to measure traffic
- The ad networks that place ads on these pages
- A law enforcement or government body acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard security practices to protect the data we collect. No internet-connected system is completely safe, so we cannot promise that a breach will never occur. We take the risk seriously and act on problems when they appear.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared information with us, contact us and we will remove it.
Your Data Rights
Louisiana's public records framework, the Public Records Law at La. R.S. 44:1 et seq., governs access to records held by public bodies, and it is separate from this private site. With respect to what we hold, you can ask us to:
- Provide a copy of the information we have about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop certain kinds of processing
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this privacy policy in the future. A revised version will appear on this page with a new effective date, so check back if you want to follow how your information is handled.
Effective date: September 15, 2026
